The painting is part of 15 works from solo exhibition entitled“ Limit and Evolution” , September 2017 at Renaissance Art Gallery. The exhibition’s general theme revolves around the limitation train of thought; specifically, it relates to understanding how limitation acts within the landscape of the process we call evolution.

In this painting Mirel breaks the circle as he wants to overcome his limits. For this purpose Mirel used a special technique combining old oil painting skills and digitalization as he started this painting from a photography of still nature (dried pieces of grass) that was used as a base to create the abstract painting in a sequence of digital images that he copied afterwards exactly and created the final painting.
