The painting collection suggestively titled “Late Flowers” – LATE FLOWERS by the artist Iulia Toader exhibited in October 2024 on the ground floor of the Sky Tower office building in Bucharest Calea Floreasca, had its OPENING on October 15, 2024. This autumn, after a hot summer when, due to unusual heat the nature died as it usually dies in the winter, in autumn after the most awaited rain the nature greened and blossomed as if spring had come.
As the month of October is the breast cancer awareness month, both I, Oana Visoiu, Gallery owner of Renaissance Art Gallery and the artist, Iulia Toader, wanted to show through art the wonder of the last flowers that have the courage to bloom in autumn, in October or even November, which continue to intrigue us but also to rejoice, showing that even after a fight against drought or against a merciless disease like cancer, there was also the “blooming” of nature, of women. Flowers with no chance to bear fruit, but which exist desperately only to give one more moment of beauty to the world.
Change – another name for time.
Late flowers warn us that change, no matter how drastic or scary, must not disturb the blossoming of the heart.
The special guest at the opening of the exhibition was also the botanical artist and designer of silk scarves with floral images Maria Costake, who wrapped the participating ladies in soft silk.
