Exhibition “Danube Delta: Strength Through Fragility”
Jane Tagg was born in England in 1967 and is a graduate in Fine Craft Design from the University of Ulster where she developed an interest in exploring different properties of materials to create three dimensional forms.
Her work deals with environmental issues, primarily exploring the eco systems needed to sustain natural habitats. Through her travels Jane also developed an interest in iconic imagery and shrines. Intricate drawings of flora and fauna combined with repetitive patterns are used decoratively and are then cut into different shapes and are used to form elaborate sculptural forms that evoke a feeling of ritual. – celebrating the beauty of nature.
Jane has lived in and visited many countries. She has exhibited internationally in England, Malaysia, UAE, Russia, South Africa, China, Ireland and Romania.
